2010 ABA Natural North America Championships – Contest Information

Date – Saturday, August 7th, 2010

Schedule – Competitor Check-in - All competitors can register early at the time of your polygraph exam on either Thursday evening, August 5th or any time on Friday, August 6th. Early registration will take place at Springhill Suites and Marriot in Bolingbrook, 125 Remington Blvd, Bolingbrook, IL. Competitors can also register on Saturday, August 7th at  9:00 am at Bolingbrook High School.
Prejudging begins at 11:00 am, Evening Show – 6:00 pm Champions Seminar will take place at 3:00 pm at Bolingbrook High School.

Location – Bolingbrook High School, 365 Raider Way, Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Directions – From the North, take I-55 South toward Joliet. Exit on IL-53/Bolingbrook, Exit 267. Turn right on S. Bolingbrook Dr./ IL-53 N. Drive to Lily Cache Lane and turn left. Take Lily Cache Lane to Raider Way and turn left. Bolingbrook High School is at the corner of Lily Cache Lane and Raider Way.  

          From the South, take I-55 North toward Chicago. Exit on IL-53/Bolingbrook, Exit 267. Turn left on S. Bolingbrook Dr./ IL-53 N. Drive to Lily Cache Lane and turn left. Take Lily Cache Lane to Raider Way and turn left. Bolingbrook High School is at the corner of Lily Cache Lane and Raider Way.  

Host Hotel – Spring Hill Suites Marriott in Bolingbrook, 125 Remington Blvd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Call 630-759-0529 to reserve a room for the special discount rate of $89.00 a night. Just mention you are in the group “Natural Illinois Bodybuilding” or "NIB" when making the reservation. The Spring Hill Suites Marriott is only minutes away from the contest site.

Drug Testing – All male and female bodybuilders and all figure competitors will have to take a polygraph test to compete in the competition. The cost of the test is $40 (cash). The polygraph test will take place at the Spring Hill Suites Marriott Hotel, 125 Remington Blvd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.

The testing will take place on Thursday, August 5th and Friday, August 6th. If you are arriving from out of town late on Friday, you can arrange to take the test on the morning of the contest. The promoter will contact all competitors by email or phone to schedule the polygraph test.

          In addition to the polygraph test, several competitors will be chosen to take a urinalysis test after the prejudging on Saturday afternoon. The promoter will incur the cost of these tests and there will be no cost to the competitors.

Backstage – Each competitor will be allowed one person backstage to help him or her pump up and prepare for the contest. This person must wear a wristband that will be handed out to all competitors at the check-in.

Music – The only competitors who will need to bring music with them to the contest are the Fitness competitors and all male and female bodybuilders. Fitness competitors will be required to do their routines at both the prejudging and evening shows. Bodybuilders will perform a 60 second routine without music during the prejudging and a 90 second routine with their own music at the evening show. Figure, Sports Model and Bikini competitors will walk on to house music. All music must be cued to start on a CD. If your CD doesn’t work, you will have to pose to house music so please check your CD before you hand it in.
